2024 Academic & Scholarship Dates
All fundable students in Comparative Literature and Hispanic Studies (in the first two years of a Masters, and the first four years of a PhD) will receive a Western Graduate Research Scholarship to support their graduate studies at Western. Fundable students are also awarded a Graduate Teaching Assistantship during the academic year.
Below you will find a timeline of External Graduate Scholarships and Awards. External Graduate awards often require letters of reference and transcripts. It is important that you keep an eye on the deadlines, as these items can take a while to receive. If you are ordering a transcript, it is a good idea to order a couple of extra incase you are going to apply for another award at a later date.
